Gary S. Wallace, M.D.
Dr. Wallace has been with Mesa Family Physicians since August 1995 and is a native of Arizona. He completed his undergraduate degree at Arizona State University in microbiology with a minor in family studies. He furthered his education by attending medical school at the University of Arizona and graduated with honors. He completed a family practice residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. During his residency, he trained in sports medicine and served as the Chandler High School team physician for one year. After residency, Dr. Wallace was awarded a one-year position as chief resident and also completed a Faculty Development Fellowship Program in the Department of Family and Community Medicine and the College of Medicine at the University of Arizona.
Dr. Wallace has done research and is published with Dr. Weinstein, MD, in the field of OB/GYN. Dr. Wallace has trained in plastic surgery with Dr. William Layton in Phoenix. Currently, Dr. Wallace is a Board Certified Family Physician, enjoying the full breadth of practice, including pediatrics, office surgeries, sports medicine, GYN, as well as teaching and supervising medical personnel.
