Melissa Monson FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner Melissa is dedicated to the health and wellness of infants, children, and adults. She started practicing as a Registered Nurse in 2008 and has extensive experience in Critical Care and Maternal Child Health.
She started practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2018 and has clinical interests in family medicine, preventive care, minor office procedures, and chronic care management.
Melissa completed her graduate studies in 2018 at Northern Arizona University where she earned a Master of Science in nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
She graduated from Arizona State University in 2003 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Anthropology and Dance.
Melissa is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She also served in the United States Air Force and Arizona Air National Guard and was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal.
On a personal note, Melissa is fluent in Spanish and has lived in Arizona for over 20 years. She is married with three adult children, two dogs, and a very tolerant cat. When not working she loves to travel, water ski, read, snow ski, and garden.
